The Penn State Alumni Association

What’s been happening:

Upon graduation, I put my degree to work by working in rural communities in the South (Mississippi & Louisiana) organizing the development of healthcare services and then expanding that organization to community and economic development services. I then moved to Washington, DC and after several positions in legislative affairs, television production (including a focus on professional bicycle racing with gigs on the Olympic Track Trials, CoresState Championships, Tour of China, Tour of Georgia, Tour de France, Tour DuPont) and website management, I am now back to where I started: community and economic development working at the National Association of Realtors managing and promoting our housing opportunity and smart growth programs. I am also working on becoming a Certified Economic Developers (CEcD) via IEDC. I hope to return to my hometown one day to plan and manage the "smart" growth and development of the County.
